Business operations, including accounting services, dispatching, maintenance and general management, are based in the home office in Mont Joli.

The Dispatch Department is open to serve our clients from 8:15 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday. We receive most orders by phone, but we also have e-mail addresses for those who prefer to use the Internet. Outside normal business hours, in an emergency, our resource persons are always available to ensure that clients get fast, reliable, personal service.

We choose to function in this way because, this is an era of "just-in-time" service, and our clients need partners who are flexible and who have the success of their business at heart.

Our transhipment subsidiary makes extensive use of computer support: loading plans are worked out using software we created to maximize the load in each car. Quality control is ensured using a computerized form because we require that each car be quality inspected before it is shipped. Rail cars are ordered and released through the CN website.

Every rail car leaving our facilities is tracked constantly until it reaches its final destination. We have our own railcar-tracking system which immediately flags any delays or unscheduled stops along the line so that these can be corrected as quickly as possible and the cargo delivered in a timely fashion.

We are always ready to adapt to new requests from our client-partners, always on the lookout for new technologies and more efficient equipment.

You can be sure that Trans-Plus Express J.L. Inc and its subsidiary, Railex Inc, have always been there to support their clients' development, just as they will be there for you if you join us in the future.

We can also handle the containerization of your products. We pick up the merchandise and organize the loading of the containers. We then transport the goods to a previously negotiated point of transfer chosen by the client.

Our latest innovation is soaking basins. These were installed in 2005 as a complementary service for shipping certain types of wood by rail, with personalized inventory tracking as part of the service.
