Our business is duly registered with the Commission des transports du Québec, as required since 1998 under the Act respecting owners and operators of heavy vehicles (Law 430): its RIN is R-005277-0. Its safety rating is currently "satisfactory", and this rating can be verified at any time by visiting the Commission des transports website at www.ctq.gouv.qc.ca , under the heading "rating".

Our firm also has public liability insurance and cargo insurance covering the risks involved in transport and the value of your goods. It is also accredited by Québec Automobile Insurance for Québec's PEP (Preventative maintenance program), and most repair and maintenance work is performed in our own shop and managed by an internal fleet management program. In 2000, we set up a quality control system for maintenance that includes a work assessment checklist that can be applied to several specific locations on a vehicle. This type of inspection is carried out on a monthly basis, applied randomly to employees of the firm.

Our firm has been a member of the Québec Trucking Association from the start, because we believe that the Association has been a strong representative voice for the industry, with great credibility at various levels of government. The fact that the Association is involved in issues that concern our field of activity was another reason we chose to become a member.

Social involvement is also important to our firm: we sponsor various activities and participate in special events within the community. The president sits on the Transportation Issue Tables for the regional county municipalities (MRC) of Gaspésie-Les Îles and La Mitis.
